A Wellbeing Assistant is someone who can help you feel better and do things that might be hard for you. They can help you with tasks that make you feel worried, like getting ready to move or filling out forms. They can also help you with things you do every week, like shopping or going to fun events.

To find out whether you are eligible for a personal budget you can have an assessment with a Care Coordinator from the Community Mental Health Team, or a Social Worker from the council’s social care team. If you need help getting an assessment arranged please ask here: [email protected] and we’ll be able to support you.

Alternatively, you can access the support of a Wellbeing Assistant privately for £18ph.
