Mental Elf 2024
Wet weather did nothing to dampen the festive spirit at our third annual Mental Elf Fun Run on Sunday, December 1.
More than 150 adults, children and dogs registered for the event at Harlow Town Park and participants braved wind and rain on the day to walk or run the 5 km course.
Everyone who took part received a special Mental Elf medal as they crossed the finish line. Costume prizes were also handed out and several lucky winners received hampers from the raffle.
Mental Elf aims to bring people together in the spirit of the season, raise mental health awareness and put the ‘fun’ in fundraising.
It promotes the benefits of physical activity to mental health and supports our work in the West Essex area. The 2024 event was a fundraising success, raising £2,077.32 through ticket sales and donations alone.
