TCS London Marathon 2027 – Enter our ballot!

We are really excited to announce we have places in next year’s TCS London Marathon on Saturday 24th April 2027 and would like to offer this opportunity to some very lucky people in our local community!

To enter, please complete this form to let us know a little bit about yourself and why you would like to win a place.

To be considered for a place in this ballot, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be in good physical health, with no known medical conditions that would make it unsafe for you to participate in the TCS London Marathon.
• Commit to following a training programme to ensure you are fully prepared and can complete the marathon safely, minimising risk of injury.
• Pledge to raise funds to support of Mind in West Essex. Our Community Connector team will be there to support you, through social media promotion, tailored fundraising ideas to help you raise money and organisation of events to support your fundraising efforts.
• Have a genuine interest in, connection to, or passion for mental health awareness. Whether through personal experience, professional work, volunteering, or advocacy, we’d love to know why supporting mental health is important to you
• Live in the West Essex area

Ballot fee: £0

Registration fee: £100 (applicable to successful applicants only)

Fundraising Target: There is no fundraising target for this event. However, we encourage successful applicants to raise funds to support our charity by raising whatever you can. We hope you’ll consider asking friends, family, colleagues and your local community to support you and hold events to support your efforts. Every donation helps us continue our work and supporting your local community.

Overall fundraising target due date: 24th May 2027 – we know a lot of donations come in on the week of and after the event, so you can continue to raise funds up until 1 month after the event!

Minimum age: 18 years old (at the time of the race)

Mind in West Essex and TCS London Marathon Terms and Conditions will be sent to successful applicants.

Before entering we ask that you have checked through the eligibility criteria and checked you meet them.

To ensure a fair and impartial process, all applications will be anonymised before being reviewed by a selection panel. The panel will consider each application against the published criteria and choose the successful applicants based on merit.

This form will close on Friday 31st July 2026 at 4pm and we will be announcing the winners week commencing 3rd August 2026. We will only accept 1 form for each person.

The winning applicants will be contacted via email and announced on our social media platforms.
