Whether you are coming through therapy or want to manage how you’re feeling to prevent it getting worse, self-help is a great way to stay in control. As individuals we have a responsibility to ourselves to keep as well as possible and there are many ways that we can do that.
There are some great self-help strategies available that can be used to help you make plans to take steps towards working on aspects of your life that you want to change.
Many of us would sometimes like to be able to change the ways we think and feel or the things we do. Many of our routines, behaviours or thoughts are deeply rooted, but even the oldest of unhelpful habits can be changed.
One of the good things about self-help is it puts you in control; you choose what you want to do and when you want to do it, and it’s free! We have put together some of the resources that we think you might find useful to get you started.
