The principle is for Foodbanks to help in a crisis such as delayed benefit, or other unexpected financial burden. Ideally people can ask for help 3 times in any 6 month period, but exceptions are made for extreme circumstances. 

Voucher holders give a person a ticket that they take to the distribution point, where they will be given enough food to help their household for 3 days, and hopefully get other supports in place.  

We are voucher holders; ask any of the Community Services Team who will be happy to help.
