How to Donate your Stuff
It’s the time of the year for a spring clean, but with the charity shops currently closed, it’s hard to donate your spare clothes and accessories.
One option to use is the online charity shop, Thrift +. They can arrange a collection of your best second-hand clothes and then sell them on your behalf. Once the items have sold and they have taken their commission, the remaining proceeds will be split between you (in Thrift + credits or John Lewis gift card) and us.
For more information, please visit the Thrift + website, on which we are listed as West Essex Mind.
Alternatively, you can sell the items you no longer want for us on eBay.
eBay for Charity is an easy way for buyers and sellers to support charities such as ourselves. Sellers can donate a percentage from any sale and even add Gift Aid to their donations. It is also an added bonus for buyers, knowing that they’re supporting a good cause.
In addition, all eBay for Charity items will qualify for a fee credit on basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage donated.
