With suicide being the highest rate of death for men aged 24-44 we need to talk about it more. This year we will be at Asda, Harlow on 9th September raising awareness and much needed funds to run services locally.
Suicide is preventable and the more open and honest we are about it the more able we will be to do something about it. Talking about suicide with someone will not give them ideas or encourage them. It is an opportunity to express how deeply distressed they are and to have some relief in talking about it.
We would love to have your support us this Suicide Prevention Day. We will be running a Bikeathon on the 9th and releasing a video on the 10th to help bust some myths.
