Loneliness Week 2017

From 9-14th July is Loneliness Week. BBC Radio 2 have a series of programmes highlighting the issue. But who gets lonely?

We often associate loneliness with the elderly and whilst there is a huge amount of older people affected, they aren't the only ones. Whether you're in a crowded city, single parent, stay at home parent, student, carer, bereaved or whatever loneliness can still touch us.

BBC Radio 2 look into the lives of some people feeling lonely and you can find the weeks programme here.
