From 9-14th July is Loneliness Week. BBC Radio 2 have a series of programmes highlighting the issue. But who gets lonely?
We often associate loneliness with the elderly and whilst there is a huge amount of older people affected, they aren't the only ones. Whether you're in a crowded city, single parent, stay at home parent, student, carer, bereaved or whatever loneliness can still touch us.
On a local level we can help you if you are feeling lonely. We offer a befreidning service specifically designed to reduce loneliness. To find out more about it click here or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are bereaved and feeling lonely we also have a bespoke Bereavement Service; bereavement counselling, befriending, group work, self help and more. Click here to find out more.
If you would like to speak with someone on the phone about our services please call 01371 876641 and any one of our friendly staff will be happy to help. Don't suffer alone.
