Designed to quickly direct you to relevant support services
Do you have some free time that you could share with someone feeling isolated or lonely? Do you have interests or hobbies that you could inspire someone else to enjoy alongside you?
Our volunteer Befrienders have gone cycling and swimming, helped with gardens, been to cinemas, tried yoga and tai chi, drunk coffee and chatted, talked through problems, laughed out loud and made a real difference to other peoples wellbeing.
A befriender is very helpful because you can talk to them about things and it will not go any further. It also helps you when you are a bit down and they are there to help to lift your mood. My befriender is very good and a lovely thoughtful person, she understands me and helps me in times of need. She is always there if I feel down or have a problem
